Welcome

Dr. Streif and the entire staff at Professional Periodontics and Dental Implants would like to welcome you to our practice.  Our mission is to provide the highest possible level of periodontal and dental implant care for our patients in a comfortable, individualized atmosphere, utilizing state-of-the-art technology, training and procedures.

Our team specializes in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of periodontal disease (gum disease) and the placement of dental implants.  There are many benefits to safeguarding your periodontal health. Periodontal disease is an infection of the tissues that support and surround your teeth. If left untreated, periodontal disease can cause pain, degeneration of the jaw bone, and ultimately loss of teeth.  Periodontal disease is also closely associated with other health problems such as heart disease and diabetes.

The goal of periodontal therapy is to re-establish good oral health, allowing you to retain your natural teeth so you can eat comfortably and keep a beautiful, healthy smile. We welcome the opportunity to help you enjoy the benefits of optimal oral health.

Covid-19 Update

Infection control is always a top priority anytime you are under our care in the office. Additionally, some changes that we've implemented include recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Dental Association (ADA).

  • Appointments are managed to allow for social distancing between patients. To reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time we are asking that you don't arrive earlier than your scheduled appointment. If you do, please contact the office by phone from the parking lot to see if you can be accomodated early.
  • Face coverings are necessary as you enter the building and while you are in our office. Our staff will instruct you when to remove it as needed. Hand sanitizer will be available for your use.
  • Prior to your appointment we'll review screening questions regarding Covid 19 exposure and possible symptoms. You will be asked to sign a COVID risk acknowledgement form. Your temperature will be taken and you may be asked to use a peroxide mouth rinse before your procedure.
  • Our staff follows the activities of top health agencies and stays up to date with appropriate changes in the guidelines.
